Michael Berg, Executive Director of EMEA Sales at SonicWall, is a Partner focused IT Channel expert and experienced Business Leader.

Michael Berg started as Sales and Marketing Manager in 1995 in the IT industry, at a small and fast growing distribution company in Germany. Then he joined the leading IT distributor in Europe, Computer 2000, which was 1999 acquired by and renamed to Tech Data. Over 15 years he served in various management positions at Tech Data, in Germany, Switzerland and at Headquarter level. Here he learned everything about the value of excellence in execution, partner requirements, excellent partner programs and serving channel partners right.

The next endeavor was the leading IT distributor in Eastern Europe, ASBISc Enterprises PLC. He served as VP Project Management and Regional Sales Director DACH and established many great relationships in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Before he joined in April 2017 leading Cyber Security firm SonicWall as Executive Director, Channel Sales, he served as Channel Director in a global channel role at secure mobile communication vendor Silent Circle, leading the commercial activities with distributors.

In his new role, he is heading the EMEA channel sales team. His focus will be to support further growth of SonicWall and accelerating the partner knowledge in Cyber Security, leading to profitable new business for the channel and a more secure environment for their mutual SMB and Enterprise customers.

Michael Berg is living in Switzerland with his family since many years. He enjoys travelling, sailing and family life.
